Watergirl can walk through water but must avoid fire. Both of them must also stay away from green goo, because it will kill them.
When you and your friend go deeper into the temple, you will find many special tools like levers, buttons, mirrors, and light beams. These things help you solve the puzzle.

How to play Fireboy and Watergirl 2
You must play with a friend, each person controlling one character:
- Fireboy: Use the arrow keys to move.
- Watergirl: Use W, A, S, and D keys to move.
Note that:
- Fireboy must avoid the water pools
- Watergirl must avoid lava pools
Your goal is to help both Fireboy and Watergirl reach their matching doors. Fireboy will go to the red door and Watergirl will go to the blue door. Along the way, both can collect many diamonds for extra points.
Some puzzles ask for both characters to work together like pressing buttons at the same time, moving platforms, or using mirrors to adjust light beams.
Tips
- Some levels are difficult, if you fail, don’t worry, you just try again and learn from your mistakes.
- Before running ahead, you should take a few seconds to observe and plan your moves.
- You must use both characters. Sometimes Fireboy can reach places that Watergirl can’t and the other way around. So you need to be careful when combining their powers.
- In many puzzles, you need both Fireboy and Watergirl to move together and activate levers such as open doors or lift platforms at the same time.
- You must watch out for traps, there are moving platforms, lasers, and dangerous pools.
