1. What is Get on Top?

Get on Top is a fun two player physics game. It was created by Bennett Foddy. Your goal is to knock your opponent down before they do the same to you. At first, it may look simple, but you need to have quick reflexes, precise movements, and smart strategies.

Unlike traditional fighting games with special attacks or long combos, this game plays on balance, momentum and gravity movements.

Two players will control two stick figures, each trying to force the other’s head to touch the ground. The first player to reach 11 points wins.

The game was originally released as a browser game. You can play it without downloading or installing. Nowadays, it is made available on mobile devices and emulators.

2. How to play Get on Top

To win in Get on Top game, you must master the physics mechanics and control your character’s balance. Besides, you must try to push your opponent down.

Every move is interactive and unpredictable. Because the game is designed for two players, you and your friend will play the same keyboard. Player 1 uses W, A, S, D, and player 2 controls their character by the arrow keys.

Every movement like leaning, jumping, or pulling will affect both players because they are connected at the hands. So you must pay attention carefully.

You need to push your opponent’s head to the ground before they do the same to you. The first player to touch the ground will lose and matches continue until a player reaches 11 points. You must master movement control on your keyboard, predict their opponent’s actions, and adapt strategies to win.

3. Pro tips for playing

You should stand yourself higher, it can give you an advantage and push them down.

If your opponent is making a consecutive attack, you can use their momentum against them by pulling back slightly and making them lose their balance.
