What is House of Hazards?

House of Hazards is a multiplayer party game developed by New Eich Games. The game takes place inside a house, but everything inside can become a dangerous trap when you enter.

Some of the dangers include lamps can fall, toasters can shoot toast at your face, robot vacuums can knock you down and dart traps can pop appear out of nowhere.

When playing, each player is given a list of simple tasks like brushing teeth, watering flowers, drinking coffee, or checking the mailbox. Although it sounds easy, it is not. When you try to finish your chores, other players will control hidden traps in the house to mess up your plans.

How to play

The game can play up to 4 players on the same device using either a keyboard or a gamepad. When starting the game, each player selects their control method. For example:

Player 1:

Player 2:

• Move Right: L

Player 3 and Player 4:

In each round, one or more players are assigned the role of completing household tasks such as brushing their teeth, watering flowers, or collecting mail. Although the tasks may seem simple, the house is filled with traps like falling lamps, dart launchers, slippery floors and robot vacuums. All controlled by the other players.

Your goal is to complete all assigned chores and escape the house without being knocked out too many times. While other players are controlling the traps, you must try to stop them by fire traps, toast, lasers at them, dropping lights on their heads or picking up their limp bodies off the floor and locking them in a chest.

Each time a player is hit by a trap, they fall and lose a few seconds to recover. For task players, you must stay alert and learn the layout of the house can help avoid getting caught. You should complete the nearest tasks first and avoid rooms that might be trapped.

For players setting traps, you don’t activate traps too early, wait for the perfect moment to attack and catch your opponent off guard. Besides, you should jump frequently and stay on the move to avoid unexpected dangers.

Each round, the roles changes so everyone gets a chance to play both sides.
